About the PC-1208
A pallet collar is a wooden frame that sits on a pallet to make a box. Stack two, three or more collars and you have a crate of whatever height your goods need; take them off and fold them flat when the crate is empty. It is a simple way to carry loose parts, fragile items or produce without building a custom crate.
Our collar fits the 1200 × 800 mm Euro-size pallet. It is made from four planed softwood boards, 20 mm thick and 195 mm high, joined at the corners by galvanised steel hinges. The hinges let the collar fold flat and also locate it on the pallet and on the collar below, so a stack stays square.
Collars are a practical way to cut packaging costs, because the same pallet and collars can be reused many times. For export we heat treat them to ISPM-15. Other sizes can be made to order.
