About the EU-3
This pallet uses the proven Euro construction on a wider 1000 × 1200 mm deck. Seven top boards run the 1200 mm length: at each long edge two boards (145 and 100 mm) are butted together to form a wide, strong edge, with three more boards across the middle. They sit on three 145 mm cross boards and nine 145 × 145 mm blocks, with three 145 mm bottom boards underneath, for an overall height of 144 mm.
The wider deck suits goods that do not fit neatly on a 1200 × 800 pallet: chemicals in sacks, building materials, larger cartons and mixed industrial loads. The outer bottom boards are chamfered between the blocks so hand pallet trucks can enter from the long sides, and every corner has a 24 mm chamfer through all layers.
Export pallets are heat treated to ISPM-15 and stamped “IN-083 HT”. These pallets are built to the industrial Euro dimensions and are not EPAL-marked.
