Euro-Size Pallet 1200 × 800

The 1200 × 800 mm pallet is the size most of Europe’s supply chains are built around. Trucks, containers, racking and conveyors are planned for it, so goods shipped on a 1200 × 800 pallet can travel from an Indian factory to a European shelf without being re-stacked.

We build it to the familiar Euro pallet construction. Five top boards (145, 100, 145, 100 and 145 mm wide) run the full 1200 mm length over three 145 mm cross boards. Nine blocks, 78 mm high, sit on three bottom boards: 100 mm on the outside and 145 mm in the centre. All boards are 22 mm thick, for an overall height of 144 mm.

At each corner a 17 mm 45° chamfer is cut through the top board, cross board, block and bottom board, so there is no sharp corner to catch or split. The two outer bottom boards are chamfered along their upper outside edge between the blocks, with a curved run-out at each end, so the wheels of a hand pallet truck roll over them from the long side.
