About the EU-2
This is the industrial member of the Euro pallet family. Its 1200 × 1000 mm footprint is bigger than the 1200 × 800 pallet, and its base is a perimeter frame: two end boards run the 1000 mm sides and three boards run between them, all in one 22 mm layer. A pallet that rests on all four edges stays stable on roller conveyors and spreads heavy loads evenly across the floor or rack beam.
The top deck has nine boards running across the 1000 mm side; at each end two boards are butted together to form a wide, solid edge. Underneath, three 25 mm stringer boards run the full 1200 mm length over nine blocks, 95 mm high, which gives generous fork openings. The overall height is 162 mm.
All four corners carry a 24 mm 45° chamfer through every layer, and every perimeter bottom board is chamfered on its upper outside edge between the blocks, so hand pallet trucks can enter from any side.
These pallets are built to the industrial Euro dimensions and carry our ISPM-15 mark “IN-083 HT”. They are not EPAL-marked pallets.
