About the CP2 type
CP2 shares its 800 × 1200 mm footprint with the Euro-size pallet, which makes it the natural choice when chemical products move into retail-type distribution, where trucks and racking are already laid out for 1200 × 800.
The difference is the deck: seven narrower top boards (100 and 80 mm, 18 mm thick) with 30 mm gaps give closer support for small packs, cans and cartons than a five-board Euro deck. Three 100 mm stringer boards sit on nine 80 × 100 mm blocks, set 50 mm in from the ends, over three 100 mm bottom boards, for a height of 138 mm. The deck corners are chamfered 20 mm.
We build CP2-type pallets to the standard layout and stamp them with our ISPM-15 mark “IN-081 HT”. They are not EPAL-marked.
