About the HW-03
HW-03 is a simple, very strong design: nine 105 mm hardwood top boards nailed to three solid 100 × 100 mm stringers that run the full depth of the pallet, with three 120 mm bottom boards at the ends and centre to tie it together. Everything finishes flush on a square 1200 × 1200 mm footprint, 144 mm high.
Solid stringers make the pallet stiff along its length, which suits concentrated and heavy loads. Forklifts enter from the two open sides between the stringers; the bottom boards keep the pallet steady on the floor and in stacks.
All boards are 22 mm seasoned hardwood. For export we heat treat to ISPM-15 and stamp the stringers “IN-083 HT”.
